From Bach, Handel, Vivaldi as well as many traditional carols, we’ll sample the Baroque selections from the Ultimate Classical Christmas Album of All Time.
Chef Vivian Howard has introduced America to the food traditions of her native Eastern North Carolina through her award winning PBS show, A Chef’s Life. Now she has immortalized those traditions by writing a cookbook of recipes and stories from what she calls “my corner of the South.”
This week and next, she’ll talk with Rachel Stewart about why she wrote the book, some of the foods that are unique her home region and her family’s unusual breakfast traditions.
