American pianist Simone Dinnerstein has built a reputation in recent years as an interpreter of Bach keyboard pieces. As a child, she was fascinated by the Bach Inventions when she heard them played by older, more accomplished pianists. In 2014 she released her own interpretations of these short masterpieces on a Sony album called Bach: Inventions & Sinfonias. We listen to some tracks this week. And Rachel talks with Dr. Amanda Quist of Westminster Choir College about her part in the upcoming Festival of Church Music at Myers Park Presbyterian Church in Charlotte.
