Sir James Galway is beloved by classical music audiences both for his flawless performances and his cheeky personality. He’s the most celebrated living flutist in the world. This week we listen to a recording from 1996 featuring Galway and several of his closest musical associates performing Bach trio sonatas written during his Cothen and Leipzig years.
