It's the time of year for Handel's Messiah again, and this week, we'll hear selections from the newest Messiah recording in the WDAV library.
The new album features Jordi Savall, a long-time leading figure in the world of early music early music, who conducts his Concert of Nations and The Royal Chapel of Catalonia in a performance of the famous oratorio recorded at the Chapelle Royale of Versailles.
This Sunday is also the 80th birthday of Sir James Galway; so, Rachel will revisit her conversation with "the man with the golden flute" from 2015. He shares his thoughts on Bach and Mozart and displays a knowledge of proper grits-making seldom encountered in a Belfast native.
