David Boraks

David Boraks is a veteran reporter, producer and photographer in the Charlotte area. Until January 2024, he was the environment, energy and climate reporter at Charlotte NPR news station WFAE, where he also covered housing and homelessness, government, business and the arts. From 2006 to 2015, he published an online community news network north of Charlotte that included DavidsonNews.net and CorneliusNews.net. He also has worked as a reporter and editor at American Banker, The Charlotte Observer, LocalBusiness.com, The China News in Taipei and The Hartford Courant. He lives in Davidson with his wife, Shelley Rigger.
