This week we listen to a cantata that Bach wrote in 1714 for the first Sunday of Advent, Cantata BWV 61: "Come Now, savior of the gentiles". Also on the program, some wonderful performances by pianist Andras Schiff, The Brook Street Band, and Yale Schola Cantorum. As well as seasonal music by Charpentier, Molter, and Schutz.
