For more than three decades, Lauren Rico has blended her passion for music with her dedication to classical music broadcasting, creating a career that resonates with listeners. A longtime student of the French horn, she holds a master’s degree from George Mason University.
Over the years she has honed her skills at prestigious radio stations across the country, from Tampa to Washington, D.C., Austin, Minnesota, and New York City. She served as the host of WDAV’s Mozart Cafe from 1997 to 1999, and once again in 2011.
In recent years, Lauren has expanded her creative reach, channeling her love for storytelling into writing. With more than a dozen novels to her name, she explores the realms of romance and literary fiction, captivating readers with her compelling narratives.
When she’s not on the air or immersed in her writing, Lauren enjoys a ridiculously busy, insanely messy life with her husband, Tom, and their rescue pup, Sandy.
