On Wednesday afternoon, November 9th, at approximately 2 o’clock, WDAV and all other licensed broadcasters will participate in a national test of the Emergency Alert System. The test will last for approximately 30 seconds and is being coordinated by the Department of Homeland Security and affiliated agencies to assure the public of the system’s effectiveness.
