A Treasury of German Baroque
Program: Biscuits & Bach
Aired: Sunday, November 24, 2019 @ 7:00 am
Hosted by Rachel Stewart
The Connecticut-based Hanoverian Ensemble specializes in performance on period instruments. In 2010 they released an album called "A Treasury of German Baroque Music" which includes selections for flutes, recorders, and organ. As you might expect, it includes a Bach selection, but Telemann, Pachelbel, Buxtehude and others are also represented. This week we'll hear several tracks from the album.
And Rachel chats with Sara Foster, author of "Pie: A Savor the South Cookbook." Sara will share some tips for holiday pie-making.
