Back to Bach
Program: Biscuits & Bach
Aired: Sunday, September 11, 2022 @ 7:00 am
Hosted by Rachel Stewart
Tune in this week for Bach's Cantata BWV 77: "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God" written for the 13th Sunday after Trinity. We'll hear many other Bach works including one of the Brandenburgs as well as Chanticleer's performance of music by "New World" composer Ignacio de Jerusalem and a track from cellist Ofra Harnoy's 2019 album "Back to Bach." All the sacred music of the morning is in memory of those lost on September 11, 2001.
