This week you can enjoy Baroque music from the New World as performed by Chanticleer. Nicholas Harnoncourt leads a performance of Bach's Cantata, BWV: "On the Evening of that Same Sabbath" that was written for the first Sunday after Easter.
And we commemorate Orthodox Easter with several selections and a conversation with Opera Carolina artistic director James Meena who talks about some of the Easter traditions found in the Orthodox Church. As the son of an Orthodox pastor, he is well versed in the music and other customs of the holiday.
