Something Unexpected
Program: Biscuits & Bach
Aired: Sunday, September 6, 2020 @ 7:00 am
Hosted by Rachel Stewart
This week listen for Bach recordings by the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra from various recordings made throughout their career. We'll hear trumpeter Gerard Schwarz join them for a Brandenburg while guitarist Christopher Parkening plays Bach cantata excerpts. We've also got inspired selections by lesser known Baroque composers such as Giovanni Paolo Colonna and Grzegorz Gerwazy Gorczycki.
