In this first episode of the season, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center presents an all-Beethoven program featuring his works for Strings and Piano. Cellist Keith Robinson and pianist Orion Weiss begin the broadcast with Beethoven's Variations on "Bei Männern, welche Liebe fühlen" from Die Zauberflöte. Alexander Sitkovetsky and pianist Wu Qian perform the Sonata in C minor for Violin and Piano, Op. 30, No. 2. The program closes with a performance of Variations in E-flat major for Piano, Violin, and Cello.
