This week enjoy a cantata Bach wrote for the third Sunday after Epiphany, "Cantata BWV 111, 'May God's will always be done.'" It dates from 1725. We hear a work by Pachelbel that is NOT his famous "Canon." And there's a musical tribute by the French violinist Jean-Fery Rebel to his employer, Jean-Baptiste Lully, upon the latter's untimely death in 1687 at age 56.
