Tribute to Anner Bylsma

The great Dutch cellist and teacher, Anner Bylsma, passed away on July 25th at age 85. Byslma was a leading figure in the early music movement, and he was well-known for his 1979 and 1992 recordings of the Bach cello suites. His is credited with making the first recording of those works on a period instrument using gut strings. This week we'll listen to some of his baroque recordings including Bach's Cello Suite No. 4.
