From the Top: Sibling Duo Featured in Creative Music Video

Cellists Noah and Sydney Lee perform Passacaglia on a Theme by Handel by Johan Halvorsen in an animation that blends music & art. The video effort was created by the program From the Top, which celebrates the talents of classically-trained young musicians. The siblings have each performed on the program and were invited back to be in the film. The video showcases a technique called rotoscoping, where video is “traced” and animated on top of live action video.
