WDAV’s Allegro Passes FAQs
Q: What is an Allegro Pass?
A: The Allegro Pass is our way of saying “thank you” for your annual support of $365 or more to WDAV. The program offers four (4) passes for concerts and events hosted by WDAV throughout the year. You’ll have a variety of events to choose from, such as concerts, private receptions, film screenings, and other fun WDAV gatherings.
Q: How do I qualify for Allegro Passes?
A: Any WDAV donor who gives $365 or more, annually, qualifies to receive Allegro Passes.
Q: How do I receive my Allegro Passes?
A: WDAV will notify you by email when an Allegro event is coming up. An RSVP link will be included in your notification emails. Once you respond using the RSVP link, all you need to do is show up!
Q: How long are Allegro Passes valid?
A: Your four passes are valid for one full year from the date of your most recent gift of $365+ to WDAV.
Q: How do I redeem my Allegro Passes?
A: When you receive an email notification about an upcoming event you’d like to use your Allegro Series passes for, there will be a sign-up link so that you can let us know you plan to attend. If an event has a capacity limit or deadline to RSVP, it will be noted in the email.
Q: What events can I attend with my Allegro Passes?
A: Events will vary, but there will be approximately six (6) times throughout the year that you’ll have the opportunity to use your passes. Events will include free admission and/or VIP access to events like Small Batch Concerts at Free Range Brewing, Film Screenings at the Independent Picture House in Charlotte, a “Biscuits and Bach” brunch, and other concerts and social gatherings.
Q: Are there limits to the number of spaces or seats reserved for Allegro Pass holders?
A: Most events will have a limited number of seats or spaces that will be made available to Allegro Pass holders. In situations when there are a limited number of seats/spaces available for Allegro Pass holders, we will stop taking RSVPs once we reach the capacity. RSVPs will be taken on a first come, first served basis.
Q: Can Allegro Series passes be transferred to someone else?
A: Allegro Series passes are limited to use by the original donor and are non-transferrable. You are welcome, however, to use your four passes to invite three guests to an event of your choosing or a guest each to two separate events of your choosing, etc.
Q: I don’t live in the Charlotte area – is there a way for me to use the Allegro passes?
A: There are no events planned outside of the Charlotte/Lake Norman region at this time.
Q: Am I eligible for benefits beyond the Allegro Passes?
A: The Allegro Passes are a special “bonus” benefit for donors at or above the $365 giving level, which means that you’re also eligible to receive any other WDAV benefit for which your giving level qualifies.
